Bulls to play Aston Villa away in Carling Cup

Hereford United have been drawn to play Aston Villa at Villa Park in the second round of the Carling Cup.

The game will be played in the week commencing Aug 22nd.

Both players and supporters will be pleased with this draw. Villa Park is within easy reach of Hereford and the Bulls should take a good following to the game against the premiership side.

Four years ago the Bulls travelled to Birmingham for a second round Carling Cup-tie. Around 2,000 supporters made the trip to watch a strong performance from the Bulls. However a goal from Theo Robinson wasn't enough and the Bulls were defeated 2-1.
