Former Bulls' player and Manager Ian Bowyer is 60 today. Bowyer was born in Little Sutton in Cheshire and spent much of his career at Nottingham Forest where he was part of the European Cup winning sides of 1979 and 1980. He managed The Bulls from 1987 to 1990 and was at the helm when HUFC won the Welsh Cup in 1990. After his time at Edgar Street, he finished his playing career at Grantham before coaching spells Plymouth, Rotherham and Birmingham City. He has most recently been reported to be scouting for Portsmouth.
