Keyte Looks Forward

After yesterday's game at Edgar Street, Hereford United's chairman David Keyte outlined his plans for next season.

"The latest thinking is that we would like to be going forward for planning permission for the developement of the Blackfriars End towards the end of this current year," Keyte told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"These things do seem to take a bit of time, but it is moving forward nicely.

"We are in discussions with the council about a new football facility in the city to avoid us going up to places like Ludlow and the like. Realistically twelve to eighteen months away.

"The other one I would very much like to do is to have a good look at refurbishing the Starlight Rooms.

"To me that still represents a physical image of a football club that hasn't moved for fifteen years. And we would like to do something about that in the next six to nine months."
