Results Round-Up

The Bulls are, with the deduction, five points clear of the bottom two with five games remaining after today's games. Stockport's fight appears to be fruitless after conceding a 92nd minute equaliser at home to Stevenage to draw 2-2. They are now five points short of Barnet and Burton. The Bees beat Crewe 2-1 to move level on points with the Brewers, who lost 2-1 at Morecambe to make it just one win in nine. Northampton are next in the table, two points clear, after losing 4-2 at home to Bury to stretch their winless run to 15 games. Lincoln are next, level on points with the Bulls but with twice the negative goal difference, after losing 4-0 at home to Gillingham. Macclesfield and Bradford are a point better off than the Bulls with the Silkmen drawing with Accrington 2-2 last night, and the Bantams losing 3-0 at home to Torquay.

At the top Chesterfield's lead is down to nine after their surprise battering at Edgar Street. Wycombe came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Oxford to maintain second ahead of Bury. Shrewsbury are down to fourth after losing 3-0 at Aldershot, with Torquay a point behind in fifth. Stevenage, Gillingham, and Accrington are all level on points vying for the final two play-off spots, while Port Vale are three short after a 1-1 draw with Southend. Rotherham are a further point down the table after a 1-1 draw with Cheltenham.

In the Conference it's goodbye and hello to Crawley, who beat Tamworth 3-0 today to secure the title and League football next season. Wimbledon are a win shy of confirming their play-off participation after winning 2-1 at Cambridge. Kidderminster drew 3-3 with Grimsby but can't reclaim their play-off place as Fleetwood hit Eastbourne for six. At the foot of the table Forest Green beat Altrincham 1-0 to move two points clear of the bottom four, and Hayes and Yeading moved clear with a shock 4-0 win over Mansfield.

At the foot of League One Plymouth beat Walsall 2-0 but still need to make up seven points in six games. Swindon also won, 1-0 at Brentford, to cut their margin to five, with Walsall three points short, and Notts County dropping into the bottom four after losing 3-1 at Dagenham.
