News Round-Up

Wycombe have suspended assistant boss Martin Kuhl pending an internal investigation. Kuhl joined the club along with boss Gary Waddock from Aldershot. The Chairboys have refused to elaborate on the reasons for the action, and their main fans forum has no idea as to the reasons why. Port Vale chairman Bill Bratt says the club will have to find another £10,000 a month to cover the council loan that they have just seen a payment holiday end on.

Rushden say the negative publicity about their financial state has caused the problem to get even worse. With fears the club could fall into Administration, they say that fans are delaying buying season tickets causing them further financial headaches. The Nene Park outfit sold goalkeeper Joe Day to Peterboro for an undisclosed sum this week to aid cashflow.
