Good PR from Hereford United

Three items of news from Hereford United this morning, all good PR for the club.

On Monday Edgar Street is staging the English Schools Football Association U18 Colleges Cup Final for Boy between Queens Academy (Watford) and Gateshead College. Kick-off is at 13:00 and admission is free.

"We are delighted to be asked and thrilled to have a national final at Edgar Street - again hopefully this is something to build on for the future," Hereford United vice-chairman Tim Russon told BN.

The club have also agreed to sponsor the local hospital radio sports show and patients will also be able to plug in free to Bulls Player for match commentary.

Finally the club have offered the HFA a deal to encourage local referees to stay involved with the game.

In essence the club has agreed with the HFA that referees in Herefordshire who renew their HFA subscription before June 1st will have a free ticket to watch the Bulls.

"All part of our continuing plan/policy to grow stronger ties with the local community and organisations," said Russon.
