Pitman impressed with Bury at Shrewsbury

Hereford United manager Jamie Pitman took the short trip up the A49 last Tuesday to watch tomorrow's opponents Bury at Shrewsbury.

"We saw Bury the other night at Shrewsbury and were very impressed by them as they are a very good side and move the ball very well," Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"They are obviously a threat up front with the front line that they have got, and it is going to be a very tough game.

"They are a very good side who have been in and or around it [the promotion race] for a few years now and have kept improving so they will certainly be a force to be reckoned with.

"They've organised their team very well. They've got some good players with experience.

"It was a very accomplished performance by them at Shrewsbury."

Looking at the League table, Pitman said he felt the Bulls need another five or six wins this season.

"We are capable of doing that if we perform to the level we've done in recent months."

In other news season ticket holders are asked to use voucher no 17 for tomorrow's game.
