News Round Up

Port Vale have signed Bristol Rovers midfielder Dominic Blizzard on loan until May 7th. The former Watford man was a loan target for the Bulls several years ago, but injury scuppered the deal. Bradford have sent midfielder Luke Dean on loan to Ossett Town for a month. The teenager broke his leg pre-season and needs games to regain match fitness.

Stockport have extended the loan of Everton teenager James Wallace until the end of the season. The 19 year old midfielder has played five times for the Hatters since arriving last month. Burton have loaned striker James Ellison to Hednesford Town until the end of April. The teenage former Liverpool trainee has only made three appearances since joining the Brewers in the summer.

Wycombe have released midfielder Ian Westlake by mutual consent. The former Ipswich and Leeds man was out of contract in the summer after being signed by former boss Peter Taylor, who worked with him with the England u21 side. Football fianance site FC Business say Rushden's midweek gate of 743 was the lowest since the club was formed from a merger of two local sides in 1992.

The League Two PFA Player of the Year award will be announced on Sunday, along with the divisional team of the year. The trio up for the individual award are Bury's Ryan Lowe, Wycombe's Gareth Ainsworth, and Rotherham's Adam Le Fondre. Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton has signed a new two and a half year deal with the club. Assistant Nathan Jones has also agreed a new deal.
