News Round Up

Port Vale fans protesting at the current regime say their actions will cost the club £250,000 next season if there aren't significant changes at the club. The 'Starve em out' campaign says it has over 1,000 pledges from supporters to not buy season tickets next season if the current board stays in place. Bradford caretaker boss Peter Jackson wants the job full time, saying he is 'desperate' to return to football after a year and a half out.

Cheltenham manager Mark Yates called him players in for training on Sunday after their loss to Aldershot at the weekend left them with a record of just one win in 11 games. Yates says he is going to get nastier with his players, saying that modern footballers 'have a lot to say for themselves and think they know better'. Lincoln have confirmed receiving an investment approach from local businessman Michael Foley, but is yet to reply.

Walsall have said there are no concerns after the company that holds the freehold on their Bescot Stadium home put the site up for sale. The prospectus for the sale states the club pays £440,000 a year rent on the ground. Plymouth's Administrator says he has received several bids for the club but won't say how many or who they have come from. The bid from former directors Sir Roy Gardner and Keith Todd is reported not to have been submitted.
