News Round Up

Port Vale bidder Mo Chaudry has slammed the club's board again after his deadline for his bid to be accepted was ignored by the club. Chaudry now says his bid will be reduced by not offering £5 a share to existing shareholders, claiming that the club's shares are now worthless due to it's financial state. Former Bulls player coach Keith Downing is to remain as West Brom's first team coach after impressing new manager Roy Hodgson.

Two more Plymouth bidders have been named by the press. Devon businessman James Brent, a former chairman of Plymouth City Development Company, is one, while South East property developer Paul Buttivant is also claimed to be interested. Buttivant failed in a bid to buy Wrexham in 2004 after he admitted to fans he was only interested in profiting from redeveloping the ground. The Administrator has a Monday lunchtime deadline for bids, with four parties claimed to be serious about investing.

Burton have loaned fromer Bulls loanee Lewis Young to Forest Green. The 21 year old will remain at the club until the end of April. Wrexham's current owner Geoff Moss claims he has received death threats from supporters. Disgraced former UKIP candidate Stephen Cleeve has told supporters he will submit a bid for the club on Monday. Meanwhile Ashley Ward's bid for the club is being assisted by Colin Poole, formerly head of the collapsed Claims Direct firm and banned from being a director until 2018.
