Booth Drops Out Of Wrexham Running

Colourful Wrexham bidder Stephanie Booth has dropped out of the running to buy the club.

The move means former Premier League footballer Ashley Ward is the only bidder for the club after the Wrexham Supporters Trust withdrew their bid earlier in the week.

Booth's bid came with a business plan (.doc format) that stated that the club was currently losing £750,000 a year, had an immediate need for £500,000, and that she had witnessed staff pocketing club cash. Her plans to increase revenues included charging more for match entry the later supporters entered the stadium.
