Bookie Pays Out On Crawley Conference Title

The title sponsors of the Conference are to pay out on Crawley winning the title early after the Red Devils won 3-1 against Wimbledon tonight.

Steve Evans' men are now nine points clear with four games in hand over Wimbledon, with Luton 14 points behind but with a game in hand.

In the other game in League Two tonight Chesterfield beat Rotherham 5-0 in front of a gate of 10,000 and the Sky cameras, with veteran striker Jack Lester scoring a hat-trick. The Spireites move 13 points clear at the top while the Millers, who were a shoe-in for automatic promotion at Christmas, in danger of slipping out of the play-off spots if results go against them tomorrow.
