Keith Stroud from Hampshire is set to referee next Tuesday's League Two fixture between Hereford United and Macclesfield Town. He is a more experienced official than some that have been seen recently at Edgar Street.
The Bulls last met Stroud in April 2008 when he was in the middle for a home game against Wrexham. Gary Hooper and Theo Robinson scored the only two goals of the game.
And back in November 2006 Stroud took charge of a FA Cup game when Shrewsbury came down the A49. The Bulls won the tie 2-0. Scorers that day were Alan Connell and Luke Webb.
To date this season, Stroud has refereed 18 games in which he has given out 70 yellow and three red cards.
