League One strugglers Brentford have sacked manager Andy Scott.
The move comes after they lost 4-1 at fellow strugglers Dagenham on Tuesday to leave the Bees just two points clear of the League One drop zone after a run of just one point from the last seven games.
Last night, Bristol Rovers lost to MK Dons and bottom side Walsall drew at Notts County to leave both sides still in deep trouble at the wrong end of the table. Dean Smith's Saddlers side are seven points short of safety having played more games than most of their rivals, while the Pirates are four adrift with only Swindon having played more matches.
