This afternoon will see Dave Kevan in the Hereford United dugout at Edgar Street for the first time since he was appointed as coach. He will be alongside manager Jamie Pitman and assistant Russell Hoult.
"Dave has some great experience," Pitman told the Worcester News.
"He was at Notts County with some good managers — Sven Goran Eriksson, Ian McParland and Steve Cotterill.
"He is an ex-player and has also been on the staff as a coach at Crewe, who have some excellent coaches.
"Russell and I felt that we needed an extra coach, not necessarily a mentor in trying to replicate what Lennie and I had, but a top coach and Dave fits the bill. Russell worked with Dave at Notts County last season and spoke very highly of him."
