Jamie Pitman would be the more pleased of the two managers after the Bulls 3-1 win against the Gulls last night.
"I would say we didn't play all that well," Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"But we took our chances and we had a couple of other good opportunities. Rode our luck a little bit.
"An all round team performance I would say.
"I am really delighted because Torquay are a decent side, there's no doubting that.
"Obviously the second goal came very early in the second half and I think that helped us get on top a little bit, because it meant Torquay had to go for it, which left them open to the counter attack.
"We've got a momentum going now but we know that Lincoln at home is going to be very tough. We know each other very well I think this will be the fourth time that we have played them this season so we will know plenty about each other.
"I have just said to the players we have got away from the bottom two and we've got to make sure we stay out of the bottom two and to do that we have to do what we have done here."
Pitman was pictured talking to the Torquay scout pre-kick-off
