Barnet have signed keeper Liam O'Brien on contract to the end of the season following his release by Portsmouth. The 19 year old cost Pompey a fee from QPR as a 16 year old and played for England u19 in March. Bradford are expected to sign Hull striker Mark Cullen on loan. The 18 year old played three times in the Premier League last season. The Bantams have also extended the loan of Watford central defender Rob Kiernan for another two weeks.
Oldham have eased their wage bill by agreeing a termination with midfielder Sean Gregan. The 36 year old has recently been on loan at Fleetwood Town. Former Bulls loanee Tony Capaldi is expected to leave Morecambe when his contract expires on Jan 17th. Aberdeen boss Craig Brown wants the Northern Ireland international. Morecambe have extended the contract of midfielder Scott Brown until the end of the season.

In a lengthy statement the board say the club cannot sustain the current level of expenditure and they are acting before the club falls into crisis. They have invited the supporters trust to make a bid for the club. Shrewsbury have confirmed they have extended the loan of defender Mat Sadler from Watford until the end of the season.
Bury have extended the loan of Man Utd forward Nicky Ajose until the end of the season. The 18 year old has scored six times in 18 games since arriving in September. Northampton are to extend the loan of defender Ben Tozer until the end of the season. The Newcastle man has played 11 times in two spells during the first half of the season.
Aldershot have allowed forward Danny Hylton to leave for AFC Wimbledon. The 21 year old started his career with the Shots under current Wimbledon boss Terry Brown. A second gazumping of the day comes at Darlington, who had announced the signings of two Kettering defenders. John Dempster is now joining Crawley instead on a better deal.
