Port Vale are reported to have been turned down by former Bristol Rovers boss Paul Trollope. Jim Gannon is the bookies favourite after he watched their match with Burton on Monday. Valiants keeper Stuart Tomlinson has won his appeal against the red card he received in their 5-0 drubbing at Rotherham. Rotherham have extended the loan of midfielder Will Atkinson from Hull until the end of the season, but they have ended the loan of striker Tom Elliott from Leeds.

Both Cheltenham and Wycombe have announced no rise in ticket prices following the VAT increase. Yeovil boss Terry Skiverton has told defender Stefan Stam he will never play for the club again while he is manager. Stam was left out of the squad for Monday's win over MK Dons despite them only being able to field five subs. Plymouth are claimed to be in a position to clear their tax debt after selling Reda Johnson to Sheff Weds and Craig Noone to Brighton.

Wrexham's fans are fighting an attempt to remove their Racecourse home from the club's ownership. Club chiefs Geoff Moss and Ian Roberts want to move the ground into the ownership of a third party and charge the Dragons and their egg chasing tenants for use of the ground. Wrexham are currently losing around £30,000 a week. Wycombe boss Gary Waddock says he will make no further signings in the January window.

Northampton have ended the loan of Leyton Orient striker Ryan Jarvis after four games without a goal. Morecambe have completed the signing of Torquay defender Kieran Charnock for an undisclosed fee. The 26 year old has been with the Shrimps since November on loan. Stockport loanee George Donnelly is a target of Fleetwood Town. Plymouth are said to have accepted a bid from the Conference side for the striker.

Aldershot are investigating after striker Marvin Morgan hit out at fans on Twitter. The in-demand striker was booed when being subbed against the Bulls on Monday and vented his spleen on the social network site. He has since apologised for the comments. The Shots are to sign Watford striker Liam Henderson on loan until the end of the season. The 21 year old is out of contract in the summer and spent the last three months at Colchester, making only one start for the League One side.
