Sam Hewson has joined Altrincham. The former Manchester United player was released by them last June.
Hewson joined Hereford United on loan in January 2009 and made 10 appearances for the Bulls and scored 3 goals. However he sustained an injury whilst at Edgar Street which meant he was unavailable for several weeks during the loan.
Yesterday his playing career at Altrincham didn't get off to the best of starts as he was booked shortly after he came on as a substitute.
