Hereford Garage Owner supports Help for Heros

A Hereford Garage owner has helped a sale of West Bromwich players shirts raise nearly £5,000 for the Help for Heros charity.

Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion jointly raised £9,249.71 for Help for Heroes following an online signed shirt auction designed to raise funds for the forces charity.

Each of the 16 West Brom shirts were underwritten, to the value of £250, by Mark Abraham, owner of 'The Car Centre' in Hereford, ensuring a minimum of £4,000 was added to the overall total.

"We are delighted the shirts we donated have raised so much money for such a vitally important charity," said Albion Chief Executive, Mark Jenkins.

"And Mark Abraham deserves a special mention for his overwhelming generosity in helping such a worthy cause."
