Trewick appeals against Downing's Card

Hereford United manager John Trewick has appealed to the FA over Paul Downing's red card which the young defender received at Notts County on Saturday.

The appeal will be heard tomorrow and Trewick should know the outcome before he has to select his squad for the game at Cheltenham.

Reserve keeper Chris Adamson has been given a one match ban after his red card so will be available for Saturday's game against Macclesfield.

Trewick might decide to risk only having just one keeper, Adam Bartlett, available for tomorrow's match.
