Thou Shalt Not Pass

Despite having James McQuilkin sent off before half time, the Bulls shut out Cheltenham to claim a valuable 1-0 win at Whaddon Road tonight.

495 Bulls fans in the crowd of 3,273 saw Ryan Green score his first goal since the play-off final at Leicester, only for McQuilkin's obsession with collecting yellow things to leave the Bulls a man short for 50 minutes but retain the lead despite heavy late pressure from the Robins.

If Green was the hero of the first half, it was Adam Barlett that stole the second with a string of fine saves. The Bulls move up a place to 17th in the table and, more importantly, 14 points clear of the bottom two.
