First Half Costs Bulls Dear

The Bulls lost tonight's League Two match at Edgar Street 1-0 thanks to a woeful first half performance.

The second half was almost exclusively dominated by the Bulls, who fired chance after chance at the Shrimps goal, but their good work and effort was eventually undone by a first half performance that led to an indifferent Edrissa Sonko removed from 'action' at half time. By then the Shrimps should have been home and dry, but a series of late defensive blocks and one spectacularly woeful miss kept the score down.

The Bulls managed another record low crowd of 1,208, helped in part with just 36 travellers from Morecambe, and are now 20th in League Two.

Full report later.
