Ahead of tomorrow's League Two match at Whaddon Road, Cheltenham stand-in captain David Bird wants revenge on the Bulls following a draw at Edgar Street earlier this season and two defeats last season.
"We do owe Hereford because we didn't play well at their place last season when we lost 3-0 and we played better at our place and still lost 3-2," Bird told the Gloucester press.
"We have to perform and go out there and play on what should be a better surface and it's a must-win game for us.
"Saturday was disappointing because we got back into the game and we should have dug in and settled for the point and taken that away. It's very frustrating after a couple of good results."
