A somewhat releived John Trewick spoke to BBC Hereford and Worcester after last night's 2-0 win over Lincoln City. It was the Bulls first victory since the away win at Northampton in early December.
"We've got four of the next five games at home," said the Hereford United manager.
"So what we have to do is build on the home form that we have shown, build on this result that we have managed to achieve tonight and play with the same sort of spirit and tempo and determination.
"If the players do that I'll be well pleased."
Trewick was pleased to see Gavin McCallum add to his goal talley.
"Gavin could have had three or four and if he plays like that every week I will be delighted.
"He showed intelligence which I have been asking for in his positional play and has shown direction and a positive attitude when going forward.
"I wanted him on the pitch as a forward player to do what he does best and he did that."
And a few words from Lincoln manager Chris Sutton from his interview with BBC Lincolnshire.
"First and foremost, I don't think we played well enough to take anything out of the game. I wouldn't say Hereford thoroughly deserved the victory but we have to do better.
"I said earlier this week that if we lose certain players we were going to struggle and that was evident tonight.
"We missed the drive of Chris Herd in the middle of the park and we missed the quality which Matt Saunders has had, but we'll just have to patch things up and do our best."
