Rochdale have signed Oldham striker Chris O'Grady for an undisclosed fee after a successful loan spell. O'Grady, who scored 12 times in the first half of the season for Dale, was believed to be chased by a string of higher graded clubs. Rochdale have released striker Jon Shaw after a disappointing time with the club. Shaw is expected to sign for Mansfield. Ex-Bull Michael Ingram is to face trial on Feb 19th after a court hearing today over affray charges.
Cheltenham have extended the loan of forward Joss Labadie from West Brom for another month. Burton have extended the loan of striker Steve Kabba until the end of the season, and signed Brentford team mate Cleveland Taylor for the same period. Winger Taylor hasn't played for the Bees for two months. Dagenham have signed Chesterfield winger Darren Currie on a permanent deal until the end of next season.
According to Stephen Vaughan snr, so take it for what it's worth, Morell Maison has agreed to buy Chester on an instalment deal over two years - the same deal offered to other bidders including Paul Baker. Vaughan says the club's debts total just £138,000, but the club is owed £125,000 by the footballing authorities. Former director Baker disputes the debt claims and says the deal he was offered was the club for £750,000.
