News Round-Up

Grimsby chairman John Fenty has said they have had two bids turned down for Accrington forward Michael Symes. The second bid is claimed to be over £100,000 for the former Shrewsbury man who is out of contract in the summer. York have also revealed that the Mariners made a bid for their striker Richard Brodie. Bournemouth could be sharing their ground next season after Poole Town confirmed they were eyeing up Dean Court as a ground in order to meet criteria to gain promotion from the Wessex League.

Dagenham have signed French defender Romain Vincelot on an 18 month deal. The 24 year old has been playing in the French third tier. The Daggers have also loaned midfielder Harlee Dean to Grays for the rest of the season. Rotherham have signed two from Blackburn on loan - defender Gavin Gunning, who previously had a loan at Tranmere, and winger Marcus Marshall, who has made one sub appearance for the Premier League side.

Macclesfield have extended the contract of striker Craig Lindfield by another month. Luton have denied speculation that they are on the verge of Administration. The claims were sparked after three of their high earners were transfer listed, but a spokesman says the club was always expected to lose money as they try to return to the League and the losses will be covered for at least another 18 months.
