Former Hereford United defender Kris Taylor has been offered a deal keeping him at Port Vale until the end of the season.
"Kris Taylor was fantastic and I'm going to be sitting down with him on Monday, he'll be signing a new contract until the end of the season," said Vale boss Micky Adams. "We have lost a few players through injury so it's important we keep a strong squad."
Meanwhile another former Bull has been praised by his manager. Keeper Wayne Brown pulled off a string of saves including a penalty yesterday which gave his side a 3-2 victory over Aldershot.
"Brownie has won us the game," said manager Alan Knill afterwards. "He was fantastic throughout."
In other news former Bull Wayne Powell has taken charge at Leamington. Powell played six games for Hereford Unired in the 1978/79 season and scored two goals.
