FA Cup Results Round Up

Chester were dumped out of the FA Cup 4-0 at home to Barrow. Early reports suggest fans were thrown out of the ground for holding up signs against unpopular chairman Stephen Vaughan, who got a less than warm welcome from the Barrow fans. Kidderminster also dipped out, 3-1 at Fleetwood, while Gloucester also ended their run in a 4-2 loss at Lowestoft.

Ex-Bulls Ben Smith and Karl Broadhurst won't be in the draw either after Crawley lost 3-1 to AFC Wimbledon, even though the Dons were down to ten men for the whole of the second half. AFC Telford did progress though, beating Blyth Spartans 4-0. In the other game of the night Salisbury beat Farnborough 4-2.

Meanwhile Accrington will go to the court tomorrow to ask for more time to settle their tax bill after some of the promised money failed to appear in time. They raised around £100,000 after a series of fundraisers, with around £150,000 due from board members and a £50,000 loan from one fan.
