Bulls Sign Forward Pair

Hereford United have announced the loan signings of Craig King and Mark Marshall.

18 year old Leicester striker King (pictured copyright fansfc.com) has played for Scotland u19's twice, making his Foxes debut in a JPT game against Lincoln as a sub. 23 year old Swindon winger Marshall played in the same Carshalton team as ex-Bull Jack MacLeod, making 17 sub appearances for the Robins since a move for a small fee into the League last summer. His only start has come in a JPT match.

Both players are understood to have arrived on an initial one month loan.

Leicester boss Nigel Pearson spoke to their official site when King signed his first pro contract 12 months ago: "Craig is another young lad who has a bright future ahead of him. He is very level-headed and knows that he still has an enormous amount of work to do if he is to continue to progress in the game. But he deserves to have been rewarded for his attitude and application and we will be keeping a close eye on his development."

These two signings take the number of loan players at Edgar Street to six, although Jonny Godsmark is currently out for around another month. There is, as yet, no further news on the futures of current loanees Tristan Plummer and Marlon Jackson. The pair are eligible for Saturday's match, but their initial month loans expire afterwards.
