Notts County, with Sven Goran Eriksson 'in charge', have signed Karl Hawley who spent time at Edgar Street at the end of the 2002/03 season.
Hawley moves from Preston North End where he has been for the last two seasons. The fee has not been disclosed. Before then he was with Carlisle for three seasons.
Meanwhile it has been confirmed that Michael McIndoe, another former Bull, has moved to Coventry from Bristol City.
