News Round Up

Grimsby have signed Southampton keeper Tommy Forecast on loan after senior stopper Nick Colgan picked up an injury. The 22 year old has no first team experience after coming through the Spurs Academy. Port Vale have loaned transfer listed pair Danny Glover and Luke Prosser to Salisbury for a month. Crewe have signed defender Harry Worley on loan from Leicester until January. The former Chelsea man, 20, joined the Foxes last summer but only got first team games in a loan at Luton.

Darlington are giving a trial to former Yeovil and Carlisle man Kevin Gall. Worcester have delayed the sale of their St George's Lane home for housing due to the current crisis. Rochdale have signed striker Scott Spencer on non-contract terms. The former Oldham trainee was picked up by Everton before making a first team appearance, but never made the grade and was released in the summer. They have also added Oldham midfielder Dale Stephens on a months loan.

The Conference have reported opening day gates up 24% on last season, but the 4,000 increase is entirely down to Luton's 7,000 home crowd vs AFC Wimbledon.
