West Bromwich Albion have sold young striker Sherjill MacDonald to Germinal Beerschot for around £500,000.
'Shergar' has signed a four year deal with the Belgian club after scoring five goals in twelve games for fellow Belgian side KSV Roeselare.
The young Dutchman was a firm favourite at Edgar Street when he came on loan to Hereford United and scored six goals which helped the Bulls win promotion to League One.
Tony Mowbray, the Albion manager, is expected to sell several fringe players in an attempt to cut the wage bill.
