The stats for the entire League season:
Appearances: Toumani Diagouraga was top of the tree with 45 appearances from 46 games. 36 players were used in all, nine more than last season but 15 less than Cheltenham, with two more - Michael D'Agostino and Garry Breen - named on the bench but never making an appearance. The Bulls used six goalkeepers and nine different central defenders, and a total of 16 loan players.
Goalscorers: There were sixteen different goalscorers for the Bulls this season. Loan players contributed 15 of the 42 goals this season, with only Steve Guinan, Toumani Diagouraga, and Bradley Hudson-Odoi getting more than one League goal for the contracted players.
Goalscoring: We scored eight times during the 25-30 minute period of the match, as many goals as we scored in the final 35 minutes of games. We scored more goals in the first half as a result. We were very leaky in the last five minutes of each half, conceding 17 times in those two five minute periods.
Shooting: Unsurprisingly Guinan had the most shots (81) with a 42% record for hitting the target, and three more hitting the woodwork. Matt Done just shaded Ben Smith for the title of accurate shooter with 69% of his 26 shots on target - but he didn't score a League goal, one of only four shooters not to do so.
Assists: Lionel Ainsworth provided the most assists (5) despite only playing in seven games. Guinan had four, and Done three. Matt Murray also received an assist for his long punt that gave Sam Gwynne his only goal of the season.
Discipline: The Bulls had three players sent off, and 35 yellow cards. Kris Taylor had six in the League, Diagouraga four, with four others getting three cards each. On the foul count Diagouraga had the highest count at 38, the Division's worst was Steve Howard with 116, but it equated to less than one per match played. The worst record was Moses Ashikodi's, who averaged two fouls for every 90 minutes on the pitch. Cheltenham were the only side to enter double figures for dismissals, Stockport had none, but Millwall were considered the dirtiest side with 663 fouls to the Bulls' 389.
Attendances: The final League average was 3,269 - some way under the 3,900 Graham Turner had hoped for pre-season. The highest crowd at Edgar Street (Leeds) was three times the lowest (Brighton). There were 75,205 total visitors to Edgar Street this season. The highest gate was 100 over last season's best, the lowest was 238 less than last season's worst. We were the lowest attraction as the away side for only one side (Carlisle), Stockport were that unattractive for three teams. Leeds and Leicester were the big attractions at 22 of the 24 clubs, with Millwall getting the honour at Leyton Orient, and Scunthorpe getting the nod at Leicester.
Game Stats: We would have been twelve points better off if games had finished at half time, but we would have still been relegated. Only once this season did we win a match after conceding first, only Yeovil had a worse record. February was our best month, earning nine points for seventh place in the table for the month. We were rock bottom in September and April. We won twice as many points from bottom half sides as top half.
