News Round Up

Cheltenham have released four players, but have told one he may be offered a deal if the finances get better. Gavin Caines, Alan Wright, and Aaron Ledgister have all been released along with striker Paul Connor, but Connor has been told a new deal may be forthcoming. Skipper John Finnegan and winger Josh Low are both available on free transfers with both having a year left on their deals. Hartlepool have signed Adam Boyd from Leyton Orient. He scored 29 time for the Pools in 04/05 but left after they were relegated to League Two.

Bristol Rovers are to raffle their shirt sponsorships for next season. For £1,000 local businesses can claim one of 100 spots in the raffle, with the home and away shirts drawn seperately. They have failed to find a new sponsor after their current backers pulled out in Feburary. Luton have announced the departure of long serving secretary Cherry Newbery. She hit the headlines for blowing the whistle on the illegal payments to players, the fine for which eventually saw them lose their League status.

Yeovil have released striker Luke Rodgers. The former Bulls target joined them from Port Vale in November but scored just three goals in 22 matches - starting only five of sixteen matches after a permanent January move. Accrington boss John Coleman and assistant Jimmy Bell have signed new 12 month rolling deals at the club.
