Praise for Hereford United and its players has come from the deputy headteacher of Colwall Primary School.
Some of the pupils recently visited Edgar Street for a maths lesson and other number based activities. Amidst other tasks they worked out the cost of season tickets.
Whilst there they were able to watch the first team train.
"Many of the children have mentioned going to watch their local team now and are more enthusiastic about playing sport as a result. Hereford United were brilliant and the players acted as real professional role-models for the children," deputy headmaster Lee Card told the Malvern Gazette.
The event was organised through the Football in the Community Scheme.
