Whilst many supporters haven't even thought of next season, some of those at Northampton Town have already re-newed their season tickets.
The number is higher than this time last year says Northampton.
Given the credit crunch and the uncertainty of what League Northampton will play in next season, these figures are surprisingly good.
"We have had a flurry of activity now we have started the final month of the discount period," said Customer Service Manager Paula Kane.
"People are assuming there is a real doom and gloom about the place because of the last few results, but as far as season ticket sales are concerned, we are pleased with where we are at the moment, particularly as over 20% of all sales so far are to new season ticket holders. Attracting new season ticket holders is vitally important to us and the £250 season ticket seems to be working well on that front," said chairman David Cardoza.
"Every season ticket we sell helps the club and increases our chances of success next season. We remain hopeful and confident that we will be playing in League One next season."
Northampton are currently 21st in League One but have games in hand over clubs just above them.
Hereford United play their last away game of the season at Northampton on April 25th.
