Results Round Up

Brighton lost 3-2 at home to Swindon to leave then six points short of safety after Crewe earned another point through a goalless draw with Hartlepool. The Robins and Pools are virtually safe, with Leyton Orient also out of the mire after a 2-1 win over Colchester put them on 52 points.

At the top Leicester's win puts them ten points inside the automatic promotion zone, and they will confirm promotion with three points against Leeds on Monday. Leeds themselves beat Stockport 1-0 to move eight points inside the play-offs with a faint chance of an automatic spot. Tranmere beat Walsall 1-0 to take the final play-off spot from Scunthorpe, who hold two games in hand on the Prenton Park outfit.

In League Two Brentford stay top after a 1-1 draw with fourth placed Exeter. Wycombe are back up to second after a 1-0 win over Gillingham, while Chesterfield's goalless draw with Darlington pushes Shrewsbury out of the play-off places. Down the bottom Luton are 11 points short of safety with just 15 left on the table after a goalless draw with Lincoln. Chester, Grimsby, and Bournemouth all lost leaving them in the same positions with four games each left.

In the Conference Burton beat Histon 3-1 to leave them two points short of confirming the title and promotion. Kidderminster moved up to fourth with a 2-2 draw with Altrincham. Forest Green lost 2-0 to Woking. Northwich will go down if they drop another point after surviving relegation for the second time with a 2-1 win at York, a result that leaves the Minstermen deeply in trouble.
