Pay on the Gate for Leicester Match

Hereford United supporters are reminded that they can pay on the gate for this afternoon's League One game against Leicester City. The decision to change the status of the game from all-ticket to pay on the gate was taken earlier this week.

Leicester City supporters were given an extra allocation of tickets this week. They will have all the Blackfriars End of the Edgar Street stadium plus half of the Len Weston stand. According to Graham Turner, the Hereford United manager, Leicester are expected to have just over 2,000 supporters at the match.

Leicester remain top of League One as Peterborough failed to take all three points from their game with Cheltenham yesterday.

Altogether there are six League One fixtures today:

Brighton v Swindon
Crewe v Hartlepool
Hereford v Leicester
Leeds v Stockport
Leyton Orient v Colchester
Walsall v Tranmere

Meanwhile several supporters are hoping that just before the start of the game the crowd will applaud in honour of Greg Thomas, who at the age of just sixteen died earlier this week. Greg used to stand at the front of the Meadow End and attended many away matches as well.
