The Bulls lost 2-1 to Brighton in their do-or-die League One match at Edgar Street tonight.
The 2,033 crowd, with only 1,754 locals, was a result of recent performances - and those that did opt to avoid the Champions League on TV were served up 45 minutes of absolute dross before a spirited, but ultimately toothless, second half display saw the Bulls finally manage a shot on target in injury time thanks to a saved penalty. Kris Taylor did at least find a goal from 20 yards shortly after but it was - as usual - too little, too late.
While still mathematically possible, the Bulls are virtually doomed without some kind of very unlikely heroics from the outfield players to match that of Peter Gulacsi who, once again, prevented the scoreline from being an embarassment.
