Dean Beckwith will miss Saturday's match at Hartlepool. The Hereford United defender picked up a knee injury in the game against Huddesfield last Saturday.
Three other players, Josh Gowling, Jack Macleod and Matt Done, will also miss the game due to injury.
Sam Hewson, who is also carrying an injury, has returned to Manchester United early. His loan spell was due to end after Saturday's match.
Manager Graham Turner has acknowledged that the club has had more than its fair share of injury problems this season both with their own players and loan players but didn't think that was the only reason for their performance this season.
"We haven't been quite so successful with our loan players this season. They haven't made the sort of impact that the loan players made for us last season," Turner told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"And I think that it would be fair to say that maybe one or two of the players have found the going tough at this level, maybe a little tougher than they expected."
