Conditions are not ideal. Before the game our reporter says it's currently 'tipping it down' at Brunton Park.
And around 40 supporters have made the long trip. Even before kick-off they sound in good voice.
In just the sixth minute, Matty Done crossed for Steve Guinan to put Hereford in front. After the hosts had a number of chances, Hereford shocked Brunton Park by doubling their advantage with Ben Smith scoring the second. On the stroke of half-time, Michael Bridges pulled a goal back for Carlisle from 30 yards.
