Hereford United manager Graham Turner told the post match press conference after last night's game at Carlisle that the three points gives the Bulls a fighting chance of avoiding relegation.
"It was a badly needed win after a poor run," said Turner.
"We had to work hard for it and had a bit of luck which has been lacking in recent matches.
"It gives us a fighting chance of survival and there's got to be an almighty belief that we can get out of trouble.
"We've brought experience in for the last three or four matches. Sometimes that experience is an important thing especially when we find ourselves where we are. It was a vital result."
