Another simple goal we've conceded - Broadhurst

Captain Karl Broadhurst spoke to BBC Hereford and Worcester after this afternoon's game at Edgar Street.

"I think we started reasonably well. We got the ball down and we tried to play it.

"Jenno had a great strike which the keeper saved. Another day that flies into the back of the net.

"Once we got to grips with the conditions we looked good.

"Kris Taylor did a very good job on Ainsworth today. He didn't have much of the ball. We negated that threat."

Dean Beckwith had to be subbed at half time.

"Deano cleared the ball and caught their striker and felt something in his knee. He had a little test but it was no good."

And the goal.

"Second half was a bit erratic, bit sloppy in the middle of the field, kept giving the ball to them, allowed them to get a foothold in the game.

"The sucker punch was the goal. Another simple goal that we have conceded. We've lost the game from it. That's the story of our season."
