The Hereford United manager Graham Turner is now known as the 'Loan King of League One' according to the Peterborough press. It is because of his success in bringing in loan players to Edgar Street without breaking the bank.
"We have prided ourselves in running this club as a going concern. We had a little bit of money to spend during the January transfer window, but I would never do anything to put this club in any sort of financial jeopardy," said Turner.
"We've actually had bad luck with our loan players as many of them picked up injuries, but we've managed to find some good ones now.
"Goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi was exceptional against Leeds. He made a fantastic penalty save and he also came and caught crosses so for an 18 year-old he was outstanding.
"Godwin Antwi only met the rest of the side 90 minutes before kick off so he was outstanding as well, but the whole team were magnificent.
"We are still in a dogfight but we have shown a lot of character in the last couple of games. We have thoroughly deserved the six points we collected.
"It's a vital month for us now as the games are coming thick and fast. We had to start winning and now we have to carry on winning.
"Our performances in the first half of the season weren't as bad as results suggested. We played well at places like Peterborough and yet came away with nothing.
"But our confidence is up now and I am sure we will now stay up. There are certainly four worse teams than us in the division."
