In advance of tomorrow's game against Peterborough United, John Trewick has told the Worcester News that he is hopeful of a third successive win for the Bulls.
“When you look at the league table after the two wins against Cheltenham and Leeds, it looks a lot happier and we are closing the gap on the teams above us," said the Hereford United coach.
“We have always believed we had a chance of staying in the division but two wins on the trot will give, if it was needed, the players that extra belief that they can make a good go of it and beat anybody.
“Peterborough are a good side and have some fine players — Craig Mackail-Smith, Aaron Mclean and George Boyd to name three.
“They are not around the top of the table for nothing but, if we can beat Oldham and Leeds at home in the style we did, there’s no reason, if we show the same qualities, why we can’t beat Peterborough.”
Trewick confirmed that recent loan signing Godwin Antwi will start in the centre of defence.
“Godwin came in at late notice, slotted straight into the team and did a fine job. He was part of a team that kept a clean sheet,” he said.
