Light Snow For Carlisle

Met Office forecasts for Carlisle in the run-up to Tuesday's match suggest the match will be on.

Monday's forecast is for near freezing temperatures through most of the day accompanied by light snow, while Tuesday is expected to be slightly warmer but heavy snow is forecast for the evening and through the night.

The Cumbrians have pitch covers and are expected to use them ahead of the match. Pitch covers or undersoil heating will become mandatory from next season for all Football League sides, with the Cumbrians trialling a prototype fleece covering during the earlier cold snap at the start of the year.
