The Worcester News has given a few details on the injury situation at Edgar Street after all three central defenders had to leave the pitch during last Saturday's match at Cheltenham.
Dean Beckwith spent Saturday night in hospital with severe concussion and Josh Gowling also visited Cheltenham General with a suspected broken ankle.
On-loan Gowling was released after an X-ray revealed no fracture, while substitute Karl Broadhurst failed to appear for the second-half at Whaddon Road due to a dead leg.
All three have been ruled out for the visit of Simon Grayson’s Leeds and Turner has spent the last 72 hours searching around for a suitable replacement.
The paper goes on to give a few quotes from Graham Turner about this evening's game against Leeds United.
"No disrespect to the likes of Accrington Stanley and Dagenham and Redbridge but I’d much rather be playing Leeds,” he said.
“This is a match we can look forward to — it’s an attractive fixture.
“We also go into the game boosted by the win on Saturday. What pleased me the most about the weekend is the circumstances the victory came in.
“We lost our central defenders and we needed them because Cheltenham posed a big aerial threat — they were hitting long and hopeful balls over the top.”
