Graham Turner has confirmed that winger Lionel Ainsworth can play for Hereford United against Walsall next Saturday. However that is the last game of his loan unless it is extended which Turner would clearly like to agree.
Turning to this afternoon's match against Oldham, Turner was pleased with today's win coming against a team who convincingly defeated the Bulls last October.
"To be fair it's been threatening for a while," Turner told the post match press conference.
"We got the breaks early on and put the ball in the back of the net. You could see the confidence surge through the side.
"We looked so full of running and bright ideas and good play. It's amazing what a goal can do to player's confidence. Collectively we looked a decent side today.
"We hope that just the start of the rest of the season. There's been some evidence today to suggest that with the work we have got in the team we got a chance.
"I thought we looked solid as a side and worked hard as a side. Some of the play coming forward was excellent. It was pleasing to keep a clean sheet."
