Samson in goal this evening

Craig Samson will be between the sticks for Hereford United in their FA Cup replay at Dagenham this evening. New loan signing Matt Murray is cup-tied and there isn't expected to be a sub-goalkeeper on the bench.

Otherwise manager Graham Turner may decide to keep the same side as started against Cheltenham last Saturday. He will, however, have to take into account another very important fixture next Saturday when Northampton (who were defeated by Leeds 5-2 in a Cup replay last night) visit Edgar Street so could be tempted to 'rotate' the squad slightly.

No new injury worries have been reported. However Richard Rose is still said to be suffering from a virus and will miss out on the game.

With confidence boosted after Saturday's 3-0 win, the squad will travel down to London with high hopes of winning the tie which will bring the Bulls £20,000 in prize money and a trip to the Walkers Stadium in Round Two.

Slightly disappointing will be the number of spectators travelling from the Herefordshire area to the game. Just one coach, from HUISA, is expected to travel. It has to be hoped that the away following will be boosted by supporters from the London area.

As reported yesterday BBC Hereford and Worcester will have live coverage of the game on the net (UK only) as well as around Herefordshire on 94.7FM.
